Crime novel. A burnt-out US city cop is assigned a cushy investigation while the dust settles on an operation that went disastrously wrong. The investigation, however, proves far from straightforward, and leads the cop back to his old hometown where he unearths facts about his past he'd rather not have known. Having a Laugh
Play that tells the story of Associated London Scripts, the team set up by Eric Sykes and Spike Milligan in the 50s, and who were responsible for writing nearly all of the most popular radio and TV shows throughout the 50s and 60s
